No More Forks To Give (NMFTG)
For women who’ve had enough and men who get it
A blog and community for feminists – of any gender – who have had enough of the patriarchy and want to make a change.

“Shame must change sides”
Gisèle Pelicot
We are a quarter of a century into a new millennium and women’s rights are moving backwards, not forwards.
Husbands assaulting their wives
Gisèle Pelicot was raped by over 80 men during a 9 year period. These men were invited by her then-husband via a chatroom called “without her knowledge”.
Speaking at the end of her trial where her husband and 49 other men were found guilty of assaults on her, Gisèle Pelicot said:
“I wanted…to ensure that society could actually see what was happening and I never have regretted this decision. I now have faith in our capacity collectively to take hold of a future in which everybody, women, men, can live together in harmony, in respect and mutual understanding.”

Wear what you want, be who you want
We are done with society and the patriarchy telling us women what to wear, at what age.
We have had enough of slut-shaming, catcalling and “asking for it” BS.
Women are allowed to want sex, enjoy sex and to have sex when they want to (as long as it’s consensual).
No more talk about “mutton dressed as lamb” or policing what women should or shouldn’t wear.
We can age how we want to – with grey hair and wrinkles, Botox and plastic surgery, make-up or not.
No one gets to say what we wear, or how we look. Not our partners, our family, the internet, society, no one.
Embrace who you are and wear what makes you happy.
You can also dress in a sexy / feminine way and still be a feminist.
Men exchanging tips for sexual assault
In January 2025 an investigation revealed group chats on Telegram with over 70,000 men worldwide, sharing tutorials on how to incapacitate, rape, and harm women, along with video footage of their victims. The men were principally targeting their wives, girlfriends, mothers and sisters.
Rape by someone you know
In 2021 in the UK, according to Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre:
>>… 1 in 2 rapes against women were carried out by their partner or ex-partner
>>… 5 in 6 rapes against women are carried out by someone they know.

You are allowed to be a single, crazy cat lady
Too many of us were raised with the idea that marriage was the end goal.
We were afraid of being left on the shelf.
We’ve got good news for you!
You don’t need to be in a relationship.
(And spoiler alert, living alone is actually quite glorious – with or without cats.)
Don’t be afraid of never getting married. Or of getting divorced.
Don’t worry about dying alone – even if you get married there’s still a big risk this will happen to you!
To paraphrase Miley Cyrus “you can buy yourself flowers”.
Women have had enough, and we’re hoping there are enough men ready to fight alongside us to make a change!
We need sisterhood not bitchihood, with women standing side by side not pitted against each other.
Men – we can’t do this without you! Please come and join our fight. Speak up for us when we’re not there. Stand up for us as if this fight were your own.
It’s time to change so much:
>>…rape and sexual abuse (see above)
>>…providing unpaid domestic labour
>>…inflexibility of employers around work from home requests
>>…catcalling
>>…slut-shaming
>>…unequal pay and more

We send love not hate!
We are angry, we’ve had enough and we want change but we’re here to fight with love not guns or bombs or hatred.
We are also here for everyone who has had enough of the patriarchy – all genders, queer, straight and trans, white folk and people of colour, able-bodied and disabled, neuro-divergent and neuro-typical.
If you’ve had enough and you’re ready for change then you’re in the right place.
